Can you believe it.....

It's New Year's Eve!!!!!

WOW, where has this year gone?  2015 has been a very trying year for my family.  We have had lots of trials and tribulations.  I thank God for the strength that he has given us and continue to pray that He keeps blessing us!

2015 brought me two NEW GRANDSONS!  They are both so handsome, and yes I am biased!  LOL

I expanded my crafting in 2015, I now am the proud owner of a Brother's PE 770 embroidery machine and am learning the ends and outs of machine embroidery little by little.  My DH wants to know why all my hobbies cost so much and I just reply look how pretty the things I make are.  LOL  He is only joking of course, his hobbies are just as expensive if not more than mine....he hunts and fishes!  :)

I have been painstakingly working in getting my craft room organized.  It really is a task that doesn't seem to end.  I have figured out I am a hoarder  collector of all things crafty!  I started crafting in 2009 and my room certainly tells the story!

I participated in lots of wonderful blog hops and am hoping to continue to do so in 2016.  As it stands right now I am signed up for at least one hop per a month through August!

I hope you continue to visit my blog and hop with us, there are always some SWEET blog candy being given away!

What do I want out of 2016, well that's a good question:
Of course all the things everyone wants.....
*health;
*happiness;
*peace;
*time with my grandbabies;
* more money;
to win the lottery ( I keep forgetting to buy the tickets) so that I can retire, stay home and craft all day!

I don't want much.  LOL

Really, I would like to slow down in 2016 (NOT CRAFTING) and enjoy all the little things.  I feel as tho we sometimes don't take enough time to appreciate the things we do have and mostly we tend to take each other for granted.  So I aim to take a step back and slow my life down a little.  Not be on the go all the time; take some "me" time whatever that may be....crafting, cooking for my family, spending time with my grandbabies or just being lazy and laying around reading all day.  These are the things I hope to accomplish in 2016!

God Bless you!  See you back here tomorrow, I hope!!!

  2. Happy New Year! Love your look for 2016...I'm right there with you! I've been given the opportunity to work full time as a school secretary, which includes summers. I've had to decline for several reasons, one being the most heart felt. My 13 yr old son said that it wouldn't be the same summer vacation not seeing great-grandma (she just turned 97!), aunts and cousins, playing outside, going to the movies. If my son wants me home -- and my 11 yr old daughter is catching on after we said no you can't play with your friends outside where ever you want when I'm not home -- then home I shall be! He won't want me home or around forever!
