Something New!

For the longest time, I've wanted to try embroidery.
I finally gave in and bought myself a single needle embroidery machine.  I purchased the Brother pe770.
I was super excited when it was delivered.  Then I watched a ton of youtube videos!  YIKES!!!!  I was like, I didn't realize you need all these additional supplies.  LOL  You should always do your research before jumping in with both feet.  Not me I do everything on impulse.  LOL
You need things like thread (DUH), bobbin thread, stabilizer, of course material to embroider on and the dreaded software to name a few.

My DH asked "why is it all your hobbies cost a fortune"?  I said are you kidding me, do we even want to get into what your hunting and fishing hobbies costs?  How about the new boat you bought this summer, the gun you bought a few weeks ago and of course the new bow you just had to have.  Not to mention ammunition!  Needless to say this was the shortest conversation in history.  LOL

After a about a week and a half, I finally collected all my materials and was ready to take my new baby out of the box, which I did.  I decided to try embroidering on a towel using one of the pre-loaded images.

This is what I managed to create:

I don't think I did too bad for my first try.
Of course I have a lot to learn.
I'm looking forward to trying some other things.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Until next time..........
