A Wedding Celebration

A few weeks ago, my friend/neighbor and her husband of 20 years had their marriage validated through the Catholic Church.  It was a small intimate ceremony, which by the way was very touching.  It is wonderful to see people who have been married 20 years still very much in love and to share that Love with Christ makes it that much more special.

They had a small gathering at their house afterwards and as my gift to them, I made a couple of things to make their day a special memory.....

The first thing I made was a simple set of Mr & Mrs glasses for them to toast!

To create these I used my Cameo!

The Maid of Honor's single rose to carry!
I simply wrapped a long steam rose with some blue ribbon and added a bow!

Of course I made the cake for her!
And the cake top using some cardboard from a Budweiser box, white card stock, spray glue and silver glitter.  I created the "Mr.& Mrs" in the Sihouette Studio and then cut it out using my Cameo.  I cut several layers to make it sturdier.  I added some wooden skewers as pics between the last two layers.  Added it to the finished cake and there you have it!

This is the bride, my Mom made her bouquet!

I hope you enjoyed my share today!  Have a wonderful day!!!!
Until next time........
