Patriot Day Pinque Peacock Post

Good Morning!
It's Miranda here with a Patriot Day Pinque Peacock Post!
As most of you know, today is what we call Patriot Day, a day of remembrance for all the lives lost on September 11, 2001!
I hope you find time today to pause and remember.

The eagle I used on my card can be found on the Independence Day Cricut Cartridge, it was cut at 3 inches using my E2.  All of my paper is from my scrap box, still trying desperately to use up all my scraps.  My ribbon is from Walmart and was seasonal.  I printed my sentiment using my computer.  And of course I added a Pinque Peacock handmade stick pin.  These are my absolute favorite!!!!

There's A Scare in The Air

Good Morning!  How is your week going?  I'm so happy you stopped by today.  I have a Halloween card to share today.  I'm still trying desperately to force fall!  LOL

I found this cute little Mummy on the Happy Haunting Cricut Cartridge and cut him at 3 inches using my E2.  The background paper is from DCWV.  The sentiment on the outside of the card is from Scrappy Moms.  The inside sentiment is from My Craft Spot and the skulls are from K Andrews.

Until Next time.........

One More Baby Project

Good Morning my Crafty Friends!

I have one more baby project to share with you.  I created a card for the mommy to be using my E2 and the New Arrival cartridge.

Don't you just love the chunky plane.  I used scraps from my scrap box to create this card.  The sentiment on the front is from Scrappy Moms and the sentiment on the inside is from a stamp I got from Michael's.

Have a Wonderful Week!!!!

Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday!  Did you have a good weekend?  I had another busy one.  There was a baby shower and a birthday!  My step-daughter gave her best friend a black & gold baby shower.  Here is a wine glass I made for the mother to be!

Using Mod Podge and some Martha Stewart fine glitter, I glittered the stem of the glass.  Keeping in the them of black and gold, I made a rattle and added some black lace.  I used my E2 and New Arrival cricut cartridge to cut the rattle.  I used my Silhouette Portrait to cut out the phrase for the glass.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time........

A Baby Banner

Hey! How are you?  I know, it's been a few days.  I was doing really good then I got busy at work and was too tired to walk into my craft room.  Today, I have a banner to share with you guys for a baby shower.  I was asked to make this for a friend of my step-daughter.

The baby shower is in New Orleans Saints theme!  It's all black, gold & white.  You can't really tell in the pic but the ribbon has little footballs on it.

Stay tuned for another baby shower project!

Happy Labor Day!

Good Morning my Crafty Friends!
Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day!  Are you at work today or do you get that extra day of relaxation?  I'm home today and playing in my craft room this morning.  I'll also be spending the day with some of my grandchildren today!

I have another card to share today, this one is a panel Halloween card!  I'm hoping if I keep making "fall like" cards it'll get cooler.  Just so you know it's not happening yet!  LOL  I found the tutorial for making this cute card HERE on the Pinque Peacock blog.  It's fairly easy, you should give it a try!

The outside when it is folded closed.

The opened card!

I used some K & Company double sided Halloween paper along with some black and white card stock from my stash.  I'm sorry but the Halloween paper is from several years ago, I think I may have mentioned a time or two that I have an addition to paper and I tend to hoard it!!! LOL  I twisted together some black and orange bakers twine and added a little bling to my bow.  The pumpkins at the bottom are from some Halloween sprig I picked up at Michael's several years ago.  And my cute little sentiment is from Cardz TV "Spooky Sayings" stamp set.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today.  Have a wonderful day!
Until Next time.........
