Happy Birthday To You...........

Today is my Mommy's birthday!
Happy Birthday to the bestest MOM ever!!!!!

I spent Sunday with her, we watched movies, ate banana splits and hung out!  Did I mention she is my very best friend!

I created this card with her in mind.....

My Mom really likes Love Bugs and I found this super cute one on the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge.  I cut her at 3 inches using the layers.  I used some Pinque Peacock goodies to create this card.  First off my background was made using the Darice Chevron embossing folder which you can find in the Pre-Order Discount Hut.  I also added a sweet covered button from Pinque Peacock, which you can find HERE!  My ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.  The sentiment on the inside is from My Creative Time.  I punched a few pink and red flowers added some yellow liquid pearl to the center.  And lastly, I added some faux stitch lines to finish it off.

I'll be entering this into the following challenges:
Pinque Peacock - Anythig Goes
Use Your Stuff - Texture

Buzzing By!!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!

It's me again posting for Pinque Peacock today.  I created a card using some awesome products you can find over at Pinque Peacock.

My card is rather simple today but I wanted to be sure to focus on my Pinque Peacock Pretties.   First off I used the Darice Honeycomb Embossing folder which you can find in Pre-Order Discount Hut!  I love that folder.  I added a FABULOUS layered garden beauty.  I cut a couple of bees from Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and added some baker's twine.  I did not add a sentiment because, well I don't know what I want to use the card as yet!  LOL

It' s not to late to enter the Anything Challenge happening right now at the Pinque Peacock Challenge Blog.  I'll bee linking my card!!!!

For my second card, I had to incorporate this GORGEOUS stick pin I received!  OMGoodness the picture does it no justice.  I cut the fire cracker at 3 inches with all its layers used some flag ribbon (I know no other way to describe it. Happy Happy Birthday

Hello my crafty friends!
Today is my day to post over at Pinque Peacock. If you haven't already, you should head over there to see some of the DT inspiration.  Everyday is a new project to show you some of the ways you can use your Pinque Peacock Pretties!
Have you taken the time to make your Anything Goes project for the challenge over at Pinque Peacock Challenge Blog?  Well here is a project, I'll be linking up!

I love, love, love the fabric covered buttons over at Pinque Peacock.  There are tons of fabric to choose from.  As most of you know, I have 5 grandsons and 1 little princess!  Well with that being said, that means I have tons of boy birthday parties and boy events.  I thought these buttons would be great for any of my boy projects!

To create my card today, I started with a piece of craft card stock cut at 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 then scored at 4 1/4 to create an A2 sized card.  I layered it with some blue cardstock from Recollections and a plaid card stock from the DCWV playtime stack.  My dump truck was stamped on white card stock from CTMH Fast and Furious set.  I put my dump truck on an action wobble to give it some life.  I used regular household twine to wrap around my card and tie a bow. I added a wonderful Pinque Peacock fabric covered button to complete it.  My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms and was stamped on a ticket punched with an EK Success ticket punch.

Here is my dump truck in action!!!!

Thanks for coming by to visit us today, don't forget to head over to the Pinque Peacock Challenge Blog to link up!

Biker Wedding Projects

Happy Tuesday!!!!  I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!  I have a couple of projects to share that I made this past weekend.  My cousin called me and asked if I could make a shadow box and some glasses for her friend who was having a biker wedding.  And of course the colors are that of a Harley Davidson, black and orange.  Thankfully the bride added some white.  LOL   So here is what I came up with..............

The shadow box is 8x8 and I picked it up at Walmart.  I added the background paper which is Recollections and came from Michel's.  You can't see it but I clear embossed a motorcycle that I stamped from CTMH Born to Ride stamp set.  I then added a couple of Harley embellishments along with some flowers and a pic of the happy couple.

For my glasses, I purchased a couple of images from the Silhouette store.  I cut them in vinyl and applied them to the glasses.  I added some black and orange ribbon and some double hearts to finish it off.

On the back, I added the happy couple's name and date of their wedding.

The wedding was Saturday and according to my cousin everyone loved the glasses and the shadow box!
Be sure to check back tomorrow for my Pinque Peacock post!  Have a great day!
