Awesome card. Love the rocking horse. My favorite summertime activity is going to the beach in Florida.
Ladies, Congrats and please email me your contact info: miranda at nanasscrapspot dot com!

Now, what have I been up to aside from planning weddings! LOL  I've been working on getting a 50th B-day party together for my honey.  Today he is the big "50"!  Happy Birthday Tommy!!!!!  Last Saturday, we had a small gathering at our house to say farewell to Tommy's youth!  Tee Hee!!!!  All and all it was lots of fun but not before my air brush gun/machine wouldn't work and my cake didn't come out exactly as I had envisioned.  And it rained a lot and did I mention the party was in our backyard?  It still was fine. Here are a few pics:

The wreath I made for the occasion.

The uncooperative cake!

The birthday boy and his side kick Brayden!

The birthday boy and his daughter practicing for the wedding dance!

Until Next Time.............

Christmas In July Blog Hop

Welcome to “Christmas In July” Blog Hop! So glad you can join us!

Have you started on your Christmas Cards and/or your Christmas Decor yet?  Well we will be showcasing some Christmas projects to help you get in the mood! In addition to seeing some awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too!  Miranda will be giving away a Michael's or JoAnn's gift card.  Winner's choice!  To be eligible to win the blog candy, you must leave a comment on each stop in the hop telling us what is your favorite summer time activity!  Be sure to leave a comment on each stop because the winner can be chosen from any of the participants blogs!  The winner will be announced on Sunday July 28th, here on my blog!!!

For my project today, I created a Christmas card using my Cricut Imagine!

As I stated above, I used my Imagine to create my card today.  I cut the adorable rocking horse form Santa's Village at 3.0 using the layers feature.  I used some foam tape to pop up each layer.  I ran my red backgound layer through the cuttlebug using the snowflake embossing folder.  My sentiment is from K  Andrew's Winger Wishes.  Last but not least my pretty ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon!

It's Summer Time!

Good Morning my Crafty Friends!  I know it's been a couple of weeks!  I've been super duper busy.  For those of you who don't know, I have 5 children, 3 of my own and 2 step (who are in so many ways my own), well 3 of the 5 are getting married this year.  That's right.......THIS YEAR!!!!  Starting next month, I will have a wedding every other month.  My youngest son, Christoper is getting married on August 23rd and I'm working on his invites.  Of course he decided this last week, nothing like last minute Chris.  LOL  My step-daughter Christina is getting married October 19th and we are busy getting things together for that wedding. Not to mention her shower is the 31st of August one week after the first wedding.  EEEKKK!!!! Last but not least my oldest son, Michael, is getting married December 6th and I'll be helping with decor and favors for that one.   WHAT HAPPEN TO MY TIME!!!!!!!!  LOL   Although it's a bit CRAAAAZZZZYYY I wouldn't change a thing.  Oh and did I mention in the mist of all of this, Tommy will be 50 on the 31st and we are having a small family gathering of around 50 people to celebrate!!!!

I was able to find time to create a Summer wreath for myself.  Here it is:

On Thursday, I'll be hosting a Christmas in July Blog Hop, hope to see you there!!!!

Your next stop is my sweet friend ROBIN!!!

Thanks for helping us celebrate!!!!

Happy 4th Of July

Hi!  I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July today!  We had a family gathering and boiled some crawfish.  Now I'm at home and I'm relaxing getting ready for work tomorrow.  Yep, I have to work, no 4 day weekend for me!

Before I left to go to the MIL's house, I was able to put together a quick card:

For my card, I used the Independence Day Cricut Cartridge.  My hat was cut at 3 inches with the layers.  I inked around the hat with some Martha Stewart ink so it wouldn't blend into the background.  My banner was hand cut and layered.  The stars are the left over stars from the hat cut.  The stamp is from K Andrews' Sweet July Stamp Set.

I'll be entering this card in Connie Can Crop's Challenge #12!

A few pics of our family from today!

Have a great night!!!!!
