It's Pinquette Miranda here to share another card using a GORGEOUS stick pin from Pinque Peacock!
Today, I have a wedding shower card to share.
As most of you know, three of my five children are getting married before the end of the year with the first wedding being this Friday. And next Saturday is a bridal shower!
WHEW!!! Can't seem to catch a break.
Here is the card I created for my daughter's shower.
For my wedding shower card, I created a 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 card base with some white card stock. I cut a 5 1/4 X 4 blue layer. My background is some shimmery white Recollections paper I picked up at Michael's and embossed with the Circle, Leaves & Diamonds Sizzix embossing folder and my cuttlebug. I added some Royal Blue (Wedding Color) sheer ribbon. My bride silhouette is from the Silhouette store was cut at 3 inches with my Silhouette Portrait. And for the final touch, I added a pearl stick pin from Pinque Peacock!
Here is a view of the inside!
You can find that GORGEOUS pearl stick pin here! These pins come in a set of 4! Be sure to head over to Pinque Peacock and take a look at all the fabulous handmade products available!

For my project today, I created a fun filled card!!!!
To create my card, I used scraps from my scrap box. The background paper is DCWV, but sorry, I don't remember which stack it came from. My cute little ball and pail was cut from the Simply Charmed cartridge and I added some Peachy Keen faces! My sentiment is from K Andrews Stamps and last but not least, I added a couple of flower sequins.

I's Pinquette Miranda, here and I am super excited today! It's my first official Pinque Peacock Post!!!! Woo Hoo!
Today, I have a simple card to share with you using a Pinque Peacock covered button and none other than Donald Duck! When I received this adorable button it reminded me of Donald's boat and I couldn't wait to use it!
Good Morning my Crafty Friends! What are you working on? Did you have a crafty weekend? I'm venturing out in all different directions! I am working on a feathered head piece for my DIL to be, a first for me. LOL I am working on banners, glasses and all kinds of wedding/shower goodness.
Today, I'm sharing the redneck wine glass I made for my daughter, Christina's bridal shower. I need to make four more for the bridesmaids but a little different.
I used my Silhouette Portrait to cut the vinyl for the glass. The sash was from one cut file the dress from another and of course the font from another. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the vinyl is from Expressions Vinyl. To create the actual glass, I purchased the candle stick holder and the mason jar from Dollar Tree each for $1. I glued them together with some E-6000 glue.
Stay tuned additional wedding/shower projects to come!

Are you ready to head back to school? Let's go!
I used a flat wooden wreath to create my project. I wrapped the wreath in yellow floral ribbon and then hot glued 4 (24 ct) boxes of crayons to it. I cut out some cute images and letter from various cricut cartridges and hot glued them to the wreath. I want to add a bow to the top but I can't decide what kind of ribbon I want to use. LOL
For my second project, I made a back to school card. My background paper is from DCWV and my image was cut from Autumn Celebrations Cricut cart. The stamp is from Cardz TV!

Good Morning! Happy Friday!!!! How are you guys today? I haven't posted for the past two days, it seems like things always go a little upside down for me. LOL But someway, somehow I always figure out how to turn it back the other way. YAY!!!! Any who, on Tuesday night before I could get into my craft room to post this card, I got a call from my daughter, my seven year old grandson was playing in his room threw up a the bucket part of the vacuum cleaner and it came down hitting him and the face and cutting right next to his eye. Needless to say we spent the next several hours in the ER to have it fixed up for him. They glued it shut.
Then on Wednesday, when I came home from work, my kitchen counter and stove were covered with red ants. I have no clue where they came from but I had left a dirty pot on my stove on Tuesday night because I left before I could clean my kitchen thanks to Bray's accident and it was covered in ants. Funny part, I couldn't find any insect spray all that I could find was seven dust for the garden and it clearly said on the container it kills ants. I covered the pot, counter and stove in seven dust. Called Tommy asked him to stop at Walmart on his way home for some ant killer and stop at Pizza Hut for dinner. LOL When he came in, he said were you baking? LOL
So here I am finally able to get my post up. I hope you enjoy my simple card!
My Christmas Tree is a stamp that I picked up at Michael's. The image was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with my Crayola pencil colors and odorless mineral spirits. The green and red paper is from my stash and the background paper is from DCWV. The pretty ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The inside message is also a stamp I picked up at Michael's, actually from the dollar bin!
Be sure to come back tomorrow, I'll be participating in 2 blog hops!!!!
Hello My Crafty Friends! I have a quick and simple card for you today. Take a look.......
My card is a typical A2 sized card. My truck was cut from the Father's Day cartridge at 1.50 inches. I hand cut the hills and the clouds were cut from Create A Critter. I added some honeydew twine from the Twinery. My Happy Birthday is stamped from Cardz TV "Good Times" stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you back tomorrow! Until then.........
Good morning my crafty friends! I've decided that I am a bit of a crafting hoarder! I was cleaning in my craft room on yesterday and found all kinds of goodies I didn't remember buying collecting! LOL So I put together this card using some of them.
My center step card was created using Georgia Pacific white card stock from Walmart. The background paper is Studio G also from Walmart. I cut a scallop oval using my nestabilities and ran it through the Big Shot with the Sizzix Floral Trellis folder. My bell was cut from Cricut Tie the Knot cartridge at 3 inches with the layers. I added a little rhinestone to the center of the bow. I stamped "happily ever after" from an Inkadinkado stamp set I picked up at Michael's. My butterfly brads and the clear little flowers are from Creative Charms. The bottom boarder was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
I hope I've inspired you to get into your craft room and dig in that stash of yours and find some hidden jewels to create a card. Have a Great Week!!!!
Be sure to comment on our great vacation inspiration to win some awesome CTMH blog candy!
This vacation was in 2009. My Mom, 3 of my cousins and me went to Memphis. I decided to make a mini album for my cousin Kim. Here are several pics but I'm not done, I am going to add some embellishments and some journaling spots for her to write down her memories.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!!!! Have you heard? I have some super EXCITING news to share!!!! I AM OFFICIALLY A PINQUETTE!!!!!!! That's right, I am one of the newest members of the Pinque Peacock design team. If you haven't already checked out all the FABULOUS items in Jessica's store, head over there right now! My absolute favorite items in her store are the GORGEOUS stick pins. I used one of them on my card today!
I know it's a bit early for Halloween but to tell you the truth; I'm so tired of the 95 - 100 degree weather here. I was hoping maybe if I started focusing on cooler times of the year IE: fall, the weather would follow suit and get cooler. Yeah, it;s not working but it is 68 in my house. LOL On to my first official Pinque Peacock card. I used my E2 and Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge to cut these adorable pumpkins. I cut all the layers at 2 inches using scraps I had laying around. I added some green glitter glue from Studio G to give them a little sparkle. My ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. My cute stamp is from My Craft Spot "Spooky Treats". And to finish off my card, I added a Pearl Stick Pin from PINQUE PEACOCK. Isn't that pearl stick pin beautiful. You can find it here! They come in a set of 4 and are available in many colors. Head over to the facebook page to take advantage of theBACK TO SCHOOL
Good Morning my crafty friends! OMGoodness can you believe it this is my third post this week!!!! Even I am impressed. I'm hoping to get back to blogging on a regular basis again. I miss being in my craft room making things. I am actually getting brave and trying new things so it may not always be a paper project. Today I do have a paper project. Have you ever come across paper that you really liked and didn't want to do much to it to change it? Well that's what happened with this DCWV paper. I love the flowers and didn't want to cover them so I decided to just add a sentiment. The sentiment is from K Andrew's Scripture Sayings stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today. On Sunday, I'll be in my second Krazy Crafting Crew blog hop.
Can you believe today is August 1st! Where has the time gone? As I mentioned previously, starting this month, I will have a child getting married every other month until the end of the year. So I have an August, October and December wedding. Aside from all the other things I have to do, I have to shop for dresses! EEEEKKKK!!!! I created the wedding invitations for my son Christopher's wedding, take a look, let me know what you think.......
I used my cuttlebug along with the Victoria and Swiss Dots folders to create the outside panel. I added a charm that I got from Michael's it says "To Love and to Cherish"! My aqua ribbon is also from Michael's. Ashley loves everything simple and this is all she wanted!
