Happy Sunday!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!  Did you enjoy the Mini Album blog hop on yesterday?  If you didn't get a chance to hop through, scroll down there are some pretty awesome albums.  Today, I have a simple card to share.

Isn't this guy adorable!  He was cut from Birthday Bash at 3.25 using my E2.  I added some googly eyes to him and pop dotted him up for some dimension.  My ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And the sentiment is from K Andrew's "Guy Talk"  I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous background paper from DCWV "The Glitter Mat Stack" so I didn't add much to the card.  My silver paper is from Recollections and the white base is from Wal-Mart.

I hope you have a wonderfully relaxing day today.  I'll be spending the day with my Mommy!

Happy Hump Day

Hello My Crafty Friends!  As I was looking through the handbook for Animal Antics Cricut Cartridge, I came across the cutest image and it was perfect for today "HUMP DAY"!  I just had to cut it out and create something..................

Isn't it adorable!  If you want to recreate this card, you will need to make a typical A2 sized card.  That would be a card base of 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 with each layer being 1/4 inch smaller.  My card base is Recollections kraft card stock I picked up at Michael's.  The orange layer is from my scrap drawer and the adorable background paper is from DCWV "The Glitter Mat Stack".  I love that stack and I'm going to be awfully sad when I use it all up.  My image was cut at 3.25 from Animal Antics Cricut Cartridge, it's a Cricut Circle Cart.  This cartridge has the cutest images on it.  I can't wait to cut something else from it.  My orange ribbon is also from Michael's.  Last but not least, are my buttons that I picked up from Walmart.

I hope I was able to inspire you to get into your craft room or go to your crafty space and create something.
Until next time...........

I'm Back, I think!

Good Morning!  How are you guys?  I know it's been a while since I posted during the week except for blog hops.  I finally got to spend some time in my craft room!  YIPPY!!!!  I really miss crafting and blogging.  I'm hoping to get back to posting pretty regular!

My boss is recovering and is now back to work! I have to say, I never thought I'ld be so happy to have him at work daily.  LOL  But it is a huge relief to not have to worry about the entire office.  Tommy, my other half, is still having testing done, no one seems to know exactly what caused the episode.  Seems like since he has been taking his blood pressure meds things are calming down so hopefully that's the problem.

For my card today, I used 3 Birds on Parade Cricut Cartridge.

My light blue base is 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 and is from my scrap box.  My black layer is 5 1/4 X 4 and is also from my scrap box.  The background layer is 5 X 4 and is DCWV.  My gorgeous ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon's April Ribbon Club Assortment.  My adorable pirate - bird is from 3 Birds on Parade and was cut at 3.5 using all the layers.  The sentiment is from K Andrew's Pirate Tales and Fish Scales stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  The ticket is punched from E K Success Ticket punch and was inked with SU Wild Wasabi.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Until Next Time.........
