My Cricut Craft Room - 100 Cart Blog Hop

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop Day One!

You should have arrived here from the super talented Kathy.  If not you will want to start at
we don't want you to miss anything!

Collectively the design team has used 100 cricut cartridges to create our projects!

On to my projects, this month I am using Autumn Celebrations, Sesame Street Seasons, Nate's ABC's and Life's A Party.  Let me just say I sometimes don't read entirely through before I do something and I missed the whole part about our projects needing to be Christmas Projects.  Not until some of the other DT members start talking did I know.  So with that being said, I had to think and re-think about what I was going to do.  As you can see, the carts I picked weren't the best for that theme.  But here is what I came up with, hope you like them:

For my first project, I used Sesame Street Season, Nate's ABC's and Life's A Party.

My tree was cut from Sesame Street Seasons at 4 inches, the Jack in the Box was cut at 1 1/2 inches from Nate's ABCs and the star and ball were cut from Life's A party at 1 1/2.

Remember I had to make this into a Christmas card, so I thought why not a Christmas morning seen.  I added some Frosty Lace stickles to my tree to give it some bling, where the white is there is also stickles, can't really see it in the pic.  I also hand cut a little piece of brown card stock to make a trunk for my tree so it wouldn't be just floating on my paper.  LOL  My base is green card stock from Recollections as is my red layer.  The background paper is from DCWV Christmas Combo stack from last year.  My pretty purple ribbon I picked up at Michael's last season.  My sentiment is from My Creative Time Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamped in Memento Black Tuxedo Ink onto some scrap red paper.

For my next project, I used Autumn Celebrations to create this Christmas Card.

My image was cut at 2.5 using my E2.  This cute little couple is really meant for Grandparents day.  But I cut a Santa hat from the Jolly Holdiays Cart to give it a Christmas feel.  I hid the facial features with my Gypsy and used my Peachy Keen stamps to give them their cute faces.  I also added some Frosty Lace stickles to his hat.

My white base is A2 sized and is just some white cardstock I picked up from Walmart.  My green layer along with all the paper used for my image are from my scrap box.  My background paper was printed and cut using my Imagine and Santa's Village.  My ribbon is from Michael's and my green gems are from Creative Charms.

Okay, I have to say not often I finish my cards completely for a hop, I normally don't put a sentiment in the inside.  But I did this time.  I used the My Pink Stamper Biggie Christmas set to do just that.  I also punched some snow flakes using my EK Success snowflake punch.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today!

Next you should hop over to my sweet brilliant DT Sister Shelley's page!
