Be sure to follow all the directions to win Shelly's awesome blog candy:

Okay, as I mentioned above making an All About Me project has been a challenge.  So here is my project, I decided to make a two page layout to show some of my favorite things and tell you a little about me:

So let me tell you a little about this page. Obviously this is me in the center of the page. LOL  To the left of me, is one of my favorites....Cricut of course and to represent paper crafting, is a pair of scissors on my left.  On the lower right is a pic of a dinosaur cake I made, another passion of mine......cake decorating.  On the bottom left is a pic of my new car (well I purchased it in May).  The first new car I, myself, bought since I got divorced 17 years ago.  A huge accomplishment for me.

Now for this page, these pics represent the most important things in my life.  My family of course.  That's what makes me tick!  That's what gets me up in the morning and keeps me going.  So let me tell you a little about them, in the top left corner is a pic of my three children with their spouses and children taken on Thanksgiving.  In the center is my son Michael with my Mom.  Top right is the love of my life, Tommy!  Center left, is Christina and Shaun, Tommy's children.  Right center is my son, Chris with Ashley and their new baby Cayden.  Bottom left is Derek, Tommy's son Shaun's little guy and last but not least is Christina and her son to be husband, Phillip.  I couldn't ask for better children, all 5 of them have a special place in my heart!  These pics of course only represent a small portion of my family and even the ones that aren't pictured are super important to me!  So, in a nutshell, I am a Mother, Nana, Spouse, Daughter, Sister, Crafter and of course a Paralegal by day!!!

Next on the hop is KIM!

Another 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 card.  Each layer is 1/4 inch smaller.  I am trying to use up some of my paper stash so I can buy some new stuff so again I used Recollections paper with the background being DCWV paper.  Elmo was cut using Elmo & Friends Holiday Cartridge and was cut at 3.5 inches using all of the layers.  My sentiment is from CTMH and was stamped in Chocolate Ink from CTMH.  I picked up this pretty ribbon at Hobby Lobby on my last trip with my Mommy.

Festive Fridays - Thanksgiving Recipes

Good Morning my crafty friends!  It's been nearly an entire week since I posted.  I've been super busy not to mention a little under the weather so I haven't been in the mood to craft.  And on top of that, I think I lost my Mojo!!!

Today, is my day to post over at My Cricut Craft Room and our assignment for today is to make a thanksgiving recipe.  Here is my take:

At my house no Thanksgiving is complete without Pecan Pie!  To make my recipe card, I used paper from SU, DCWV and Paper Studio.  I cut the egg and whisk at 2 inchs from "From My Kitchen" cartridge and my pie slice from "Autumn Celebrations at 3 1/2 inches using the tag feature.  My title was cut from "Don Juan" at 2 inches.  My recipe was printed from my computer and attached to my main page with some eyelets.  Of course I used my Crop-A-Dile II to punch the holes and attach the eyelets.

What's your favorite Thanksgiving Recipe?  To see more projects like mine, head over to My Cricut Craft Room to see what my awesome DT Sisters have created!

Birthday Wishes

Hello my crafty friends!  Wow can you believe we are six days into November.  This year is flying by.  Are you pulling out the Christmas decorations yet?  I am trying to decide if I want to decorate for fall or just skip the fall stuff and go straight to Christmas.  Which ever, I am hopping to get it done this weekend.

I was able to get some crafting in last night after CCD while watching the Saints game.  This is what I came up with:

I used Birthday Bash to create this little card.  I cut my image at 3 inches didn't cut the face and added a PK face.  used my white gelly roll to fill in the eyes and added some pink chalk for the cheeks.  All of my paper is from my scrap box.  My ribbon is from Wal-Mart.  The sweet sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Simple Sentiments and was stamped using CTMH Topiary ink.  My card is A2 sized which each layer being a 1/4 of an inch smaller.  I'm pretty sure the background paper is from Recollections but it was in my scrap box as well.

Wouldn't this make a cute December birthday card or even a Christmas card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time..........

My Cricut Craft Room - 100 Cart Blog Hop

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop Day One!

You should have arrived here from the super talented Kathy.  If not you will want to start at
we don't want you to miss anything!

Collectively the design team has used 100 cricut cartridges to create our projects!

On to my projects, this month I am using Autumn Celebrations, Sesame Street Seasons, Nate's ABC's and Life's A Party.  Let me just say I sometimes don't read entirely through before I do something and I missed the whole part about our projects needing to be Christmas Projects.  Not until some of the other DT members start talking did I know.  So with that being said, I had to think and re-think about what I was going to do.  As you can see, the carts I picked weren't the best for that theme.  But here is what I came up with, hope you like them:

For my first project, I used Sesame Street Season, Nate's ABC's and Life's A Party.

My tree was cut from Sesame Street Seasons at 4 inches, the Jack in the Box was cut at 1 1/2 inches from Nate's ABCs and the star and ball were cut from Life's A party at 1 1/2.

Remember I had to make this into a Christmas card, so I thought why not a Christmas morning seen.  I added some Frosty Lace stickles to my tree to give it some bling, where the white is there is also stickles, can't really see it in the pic.  I also hand cut a little piece of brown card stock to make a trunk for my tree so it wouldn't be just floating on my paper.  LOL  My base is green card stock from Recollections as is my red layer.  The background paper is from DCWV Christmas Combo stack from last year.  My pretty purple ribbon I picked up at Michael's last season.  My sentiment is from My Creative Time Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamped in Memento Black Tuxedo Ink onto some scrap red paper.

For my next project, I used Autumn Celebrations to create this Christmas Card.

My image was cut at 2.5 using my E2.  This cute little couple is really meant for Grandparents day.  But I cut a Santa hat from the Jolly Holdiays Cart to give it a Christmas feel.  I hid the facial features with my Gypsy and used my Peachy Keen stamps to give them their cute faces.  I also added some Frosty Lace stickles to his hat.

My white base is A2 sized and is just some white cardstock I picked up from Walmart.  My green layer along with all the paper used for my image are from my scrap box.  My background paper was printed and cut using my Imagine and Santa's Village.  My ribbon is from Michael's and my green gems are from Creative Charms.

Okay, I have to say not often I finish my cards completely for a hop, I normally don't put a sentiment in the inside.  But I did this time.  I used the My Pink Stamper Biggie Christmas set to do just that.  I also punched some snow flakes using my EK Success snowflake punch.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today!

Next you should hop over to my sweet brilliant DT Sister Shelley's page!

Happy Birthday Little Lady

Happy Friday!  Big plans for the weekend?  I have class tomorrow all day and then I am hopping to craft on Sunday! My projects today were made for a special little one year old who had her party last week.  First I decorated a gift bag and then I made a little card to go with it!

Sorry for all the extras in the pic.  My bag came from Walmart.  I cut the image from Birthday Bash!

The card is an A2 sized card.  All of my paper is from my scrap box.  My little lady bug was cut at 3 inches from Birthday Bash using the layers.  The #1 was also cut from the same cart.  I added some stickles to her cheeks and outlined the number 1 with stickles as well.  I used my black gelly roll pen to make the faux stitch lines.  My ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.  The three little hearts are some stickers my Mom gave me.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms' Simple Sentiments.  The little ticket was punched using my EK Success ticket punch.  The inside sentiment was also from Scrappy Moms' Simple Sentiments stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink.

A Fall Project

Hello paper lovers!  How did you fare with trick -or- treating last night?  Halloween is over and it's time to start preparing for Thanksgiving.  I am working on my Thanksgiving dinner invites, I only have about a week to decide.  What do you think about this one?

My image was cut at 2.75 from Autumn Celebrations.  My ribbon is from the Dollar Tree.  My background paper and the next layer is from DCWV Harvest Gathering, last year's fall stack.  The base and orange paper that my sentiment is stamped on is from Color Bok.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Thankful For You set stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time.................
