For my project, I re-created a wreath that was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest.

Here is the wreath I saw on Pinterest.....

And this is my wreath.......

To create my wreath I started off with a 12 inch grape vine wreath.  I purchased some scrap material from Walmart in fall colors, mostly orange and green.  I cut the material into 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch strips and tied all the strips onto the wreath.  I trimmed all the material down so that the tails are about 2 to 3 inches long.  I then added some different fall colored ribbon.  Lastly I made a hanger with a piece of brown ribbon.  Super easy!

And for my second project, yep I said project number two, I created a quick and simple table centerpiece! Also inspired by a few projects I saw on Pinterest.

For my project, I started with my Pampered Chef serving platter, three $1 candles from Dollar tree and some left over foam sheets that came in a box as packaging.  Oh and straight pens.  When I went to purchase my candles, they only had one height so my very crafty Mom suggested I add some foam to the bottom of them to get the height I wanted!

You can see the foam in this pic.  I then added some cute Harvest ribbon I picked up at Hobby Lobby using straight pens to attach that as well.  Finally I added some florist moss to the bottom of my candles to hide the foam and then added this adorable mix of pine cones and acorns to finish it off!

For approximately $10 I have a cute table centerpiece!

Next on the hop is the very talented JUDY!

Should you get lost along the way, here is the entire line up!

  3. oh I love both your projects Miranda!!!
I made a burlap wreath with strips but I REALLY like yours with fall colored ribbons, I'll have to try that!! Did you tie the strips around the fullness of the wreath or around a few different vines? does that make sense? lol

Gorgeous centerpiece too, thanks for the tip about altering the height!!
    Great hopping with you again!
