Sunshine and Smiles - My Cricut Craft Room

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope everyone is having a great week!  Well today is my day to post over at My Cricut Craft Room and it's card making Tuesday!  Our assignment this week was to either use a sketch or make a boy card for the Sunshine and Smiles project!  I choose Sunshine and Smiles, each of these cards get sent to Erica and she gets them to the kids at the hospital.  

My card is a typical A2 card.  However, I made it a side fold vs a top fold.  All of my paper is from Recollections.  Each mat is 1/4 inch smaller than the one before it.  I ran the red paper through my Big Shot with the Tim Holtz Alterations Brick embossing folder.  My awesome sentiment is from none other than K Andrew's "Of Mice & Lil Men" stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I used my small square punch to punch out the square and then put it on a piece of blue paper to create the layer.  I added three yellow buttons just to give it a little more color.  My image was cut at 3 inches from the Superman Cricut Cartridge with all the layers.  I do not recommend cutting this image any smaller than 3 inches, too many pieces!
