Getting Cricky With K Andrew Simply Sunday Challenge - Summertime

Hello My Crafty Friends!  I hope everyone has had a great weekend thus far!  Today is the first Sunday of the month so that means it's time for a new Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky with K Andrew!  For today's challenge we need to make a "Summertime" project.  Well I just recently bought The Good Old Days Cricut Imagine Cartridge and I must say I'm loving it.  It has the cutest images on it and of course I had to use it today for my card.  Take a look:

My card is a typical A2 sized card.  The base is Kraft card stock from Recollections.  My light blue (Color Bok) mat is cut at 5 1/4 X 4 and the red polka dots (SU) is cut at

 5 X 3 3/4.  My adorable image can be found on page 24 of the handbook.  It was printed and cut from my Imagine at 2.5.  The blue background (sky) is actually cut from pg 16 it's the background for the car.  I liked it better.  I popped up my little boy with some foam squares from Recollections.  I added some baker's twine to the bottom along with a yellow button.  My awesome sentiment can be found in the Splash-tastic Summer stamp set from K Andrew Designs.  I used Memento Black Tuxedo ink and stamped it on some more of the Color Bok blue paper then cut it out with the smallest Lattice Rectangles die from Spellbinders.  I also popped it up.
