Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge

Happy Sunday my Crafty Friends!  Today is another Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky with K Andrew.  The theme for today is "Give A Hoot", we are encouraged to use an owl and something recycled on our project in honor of Earth Day.

For my project, I used the Give a Hoot Cricut Cartridge.  I cut my heart earth at 4 inches and my owl at 3 inches with all the layers.  My card is a typical A2 size card.  I used a piece of old dictionary paper as my background paper and part of my recycling.  My green ric rac is also recycled, its what was wrapped around my stamps I received from K Andrew!  All of my paper including the base is from my scrap drawer.
For my sentiment, I used the Positive Thoughts stamp set from K Andrew Designs.  "Attitude is Everything" is the perfect sentiment for Earth Day.  For your own set of these wonderful stamps click on the picture below.
