Some Christmas Pics

Happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone had a Great Christmas or whatever Holiday you may celebrate at this time of the year!  My Christmas was super fantastic!  It was filed with lots of love and family time!  We had Christmas at my house and it was lots of fun!  A bit stressful but fun all the same!  My daughter and grandson spent the night on Christmas Eve so he woke up with us Christmas morning and everyone knows Christmas is always more fun when you share it with a small child!  He was super excited about Santa's gifts and all the gifts he received from everyone!  Here are a few pics of my family from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! One of my children, Christopher, is missing because he spent Christmas in New York!

And here are the last of my Christmas cards I made.  I seem to have problems with masculine cards and these are for men!  Please take a look and let me know what you think I could/should do differently!  

I used my Imagine for all the images.  Each was cut at 3 1/2 inches.  My sentiments are from K Andrew's Winter Wishes stamp set, which you can purchase here!  This stamp set has been my go to set for all my Christmas/Winter cards!  Again, I hope you had a great Holiday!

Naughty or Nice?

Can you believe it?  Only 4 days till Christmas!!!!!!!  Have you finished your shopping yet?  I finally finished mine last night.  I even managed to get my grocery shopping done!  Amazing! But I still have to make 4 Christmas cards!  I know, I know what a nightmare!  I've been working so hard at my real job I just don't have the energy to go into my craft room and create!  I think it's the brain power I'm lacking by the end of the day!  But I was able to get in there at 6am this morning and create a quick card.  Thank goodness I took the plunge and purchased the Imagine because I was able to put this card together pretty quickly without having to layer all the pieces!  Without further adieu here is my card, which I am going to make 3 more of and call it quits on the Christmas cards!  At least until January when I hope to be able to start making at least 3 a month so my cards will be done waaaayyyy in advance! Ok, so it's wishful thinking!  LOL  Seriously, here is my card this time: 

 To create this card, I used my brand new Cricut Imagine (only used it like 3 times so far) and the Santa's Village Imagine Cartridge!  I believe this cart sold me on the Imagine rather than the other way around.  TeeHee!  I fell in love with this cart the first time I saw the images on Hello Thursday!  Any who, my card base is some pretty cream card stock from Recollections, I think the name of it is Spiced something or another.  The patterned paper is from DCWV Christmas Combo mat stack. I inked around all my edges with some brown ink.  My Santa checking his list was cut at 3 1/2 without the layers (due to time constraints) and popped up on some foam tape.  My ribbon is from Michael's I think!  Sorry I seem to be having some difficulty remembering things today! LOL  My AWESOME sentiment is from none other than K Andrew!  The Winter Wishes stamp set which I absolutely love!!!!!!  To get your own set or check out the other sets available click HERE! Good Morning my Crafty Friends:
I hope everyone is having a great week as I continue to work on finishing up Christmas cards and getting them out.  Under normal circumstances my Christmas cards go out the first week of December!  However, this year has been a little crazy for me.  I am so hoping 2012 is a much calmer year!  Any who I made a card using the Peachy Keen Santa Tree die and stamp.  This die/stamp is adorable.  I had fun making it!  Take a look and let me know what you think:

Good Morning my sweet crafty friends!  Wow!  What a whirlwind of a few weeks I've been having!  I have been crazy busy at work trying to close out the year!  I finally went Christmas shopping this past weekend and was able to get most everything I needed.  I think I have 3 gifts left to purchase!  WOO HOO!!!!!  I did get a Christmas tree on Saturday, which still isn't decorated! {GASP}  I did snag some pretty awesome deals at Michael's this past weekend in Christmas decor that is!  Can you believe I only bought a couple of cuttlebug folders and a paper piercer in the craft section!  What is wrong with me, I must be getting ill! LOL And finally.......I was able to play a little with my Imagine!  Look what I made!!!!!!  A simple Christmas card!  Yep still working on those! eeekkk!!!!!

 

I used Snow Angel Imagine Cartridge which I bought off of eBay for a really awesome price, I think it was less than $20 or maybe right at $20!  I'm not sure because I kinda went a little eBay crazy and purchased 4 Imagine carts!  Yeah, that's what I said 4!  But my sweet and wonderful boss gave me a really awesome Christmas bonus this year and I am having a great time spending it.  Tee Hee!!!!   Ok back to my card, it's 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 white card base.  My green layer which is SU DSP (sorry can't remember the name of it) is cut at 5 14 X 4.  And my top note die was cut using at 4 inches using the Imagine's pre-loaded cart and inked with SU Regal Rose and Blushing Bride ink.  My scallop circle was cut a 2 inches from the same pre-loaded cart on the Imagine!  The poinsettia was printed and cut at 3 1/2 inches using the Snow Angel Imagine Cricut Cart.  I have to say when I purchased the Imagine on Thanksgiving night and brought it home, it stayed in the box on my living room floor for a few days while I tried to decide if I really needed it more than just wanted it!  Especially since I have an Expression and an Expression 2!  Who needs 3 Cricuts right!  ME!!!!!!  I love my Imagine as much as my other machines and I've really only used it once!  But I think I like the idea of printing and not having to dig through all of my papers to find the correct color!  Can't wait to use it some more and explore all that it can do!   Sorry about the rambling! I know I keep getting off subject but I have so much to tell you guys!  hee hee  My Merry Christmas sentiment is from the "Winter Wishes" stamp set from K Andrew!  I have been using this stamp set like crazy what a great winter set to have!  There are so many sentiment combinations to be had!  It just takes a little imagination!  Click here to get your own set of stamps or to see what other great stamps she has available.

Brrr......

Hello My Crafty Friends!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week!  It seems like I only have time to post one card a week lately!  I've been busy trying to finish up my Christmas cards!  eeekkk.....I haven't mailed those yet!  Can you believe I've only bought three Christmas gifts so far.  I know, I know I'm running out of time but things have been crazy busy at work.  Yep, even I have a real job! LOL  Actually this time of year always seems to get a little busy for us.  We are trying to close out the year and this year, I/we don't have a secretary so I'm gettin' to do 2 jobs! :(   By the time I get home all I want to do is get into my jammies and lay on the sofa or in the bed and relax!  But really who can do that?  So here it is 10:30 at night and I'm sitting here posting so you guys know how much I love and appreciate each and everyone of you!!!!!!  
The weather here in South Louisiana has been a bit cold!  At 5pm when I was heading home, the temp was 45, can you believe it!  I know that's warm for some of you but not for us!     So I thought this card would be fitting for the weather outside tonight!  I do have to say it is feeling a lot like Christmas or at least what I think Christmas weather should be like not our usual 75 degrees!  TeeHee!  Sorry I'm rambling, I sometimes do that!  So without further adieu here is my card!

MY COMPUTER IS UP AND RUNNING AGAIN!!!!!

As promised, here is a card I made using 

K Andrew "Winter Wishes" stamp set!  

My card is 5 1/2 X 4 1/4.  The striped paper is 5 1/4 X 4. The maroon paper with the scallops was cut 5 X 2 and punched with a scallop boarder punch.  The green layer is 5 X3.  My cute Snow Couple is a digi image from Cindy's Scraptastic Designs that I colored with my regular ole' crayola pencil colors.  I purchased my ribbon at Michael's.  My snowflakes are from a snow flake boarder punch that I have.  Each time I use it I save the snow flakes.  I used red glitter glue from studio g for the heart and some star dust stickles on the snow flakes but you really can't see it in the pic.  And my AWESOME sentiment is from K Andrew Winter Wishes Stamp Set! What I love most about this stamp set is the possibilities are endless.  You can mix and match all the words to create whatever sentiment you want!  Click here to get your own set or see all the stamps available!
