Mini Monsters Continues

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Mine was pretty busy but I still found some time to craft! : )  My sons and their families came over for Sunday dinner which was nice.  Only thing missing was my daughter who had to work. : (  After everyone left, I was able to spend a little time in my "happy place"!  I made another card using images from Mini Monsters.  Sorry for the crooked pic, I must have been leaning a little sideways when I took the pic.  I think I may have been on the phone with my mom.  LOL

Recipe:
Card stock: all from various packs I bought at Wal-Mart;
Ribbon: from my scraps;
Googly Eyes from Michael's.  I used two different sizes;
Sentiment: Scrappy Mom's Stamps - A Haunting  We Will Go;
Cricut Cartridge: Mini Monsters, image cut at 2 1/2 along with all the layers.

I hope you enjoyed your visit!
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Goblin Bag and Pumpkin Card

Hi My Bloggy Friends:

Is that even a word....Bloggy.....hmmmmm......well it is today.  TeeHee  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  I was able to get into my craft room today and make a couple of things before my sweet little Brayden came over to hang out with me and spend the night.  These are two more projects I made with the Cricut and Mini Monsters Cart.

My first project is a Goblin Bag!  This cart has three really cute little bags.  I cut it at 6 inches and cut all the layers at 6 inches.  My green card stock is from Colorbok.  My poker dotted green paper is Recollections.  The great thing about these bags is that it has some score lines pre-marked and you just basically have to finish the line.  I used my Martha Stewart Score Board to be sure my lines were straight.  My ribbon is some I picked up at Hobby Lobby last year.  I seem to hoard ribbon!  I suppose we all have our vices!  : )

My second project is a pumpkin shaped card.  This cart has some awesome shaped cards.  I used the fit to page feature on my E2 to cut this card!  It cut at 6 inches along with all the layers.  I added a black and white poker dot bow (ribbon from Wal-Mart).  And I did some doodling with both my black and white jelly roll pens.  I added some bling to the eyes just to make it a bit girly.  By the way I've decided my pumpkin is a girl.      I cut my eyes with yellow rather than white.  This paper is also Colorbok from Wal-Mart.  I know, I know I shop at Wal-Mart a lot.  Its just the closest thing to me.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit my blog!
Have a great weekend!
Until next time, Happy Craftin'!

What's Brewin'?

Good Evening My Scrappy Friends:
I hope things are going well for you tonight!
As you can see I am still exploring the Mini Monsters Cart!
I am so enjoying this cart along with some Peachy Keen faces and Scrappy Mom Sentiments!
Can you guess what my favorite holiday is?

My card is a typical A2 sized card!
For those of you who are unsure of what that is, it measures 5 1/2 by 4 1/4.
Each of my mats are 1/4 inch smaller with the exception of the purple.
It is 5 X 2 inches.
I used a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 piece of paper to cut my fence
and used the fit to page feature on my E2.
My cauldron and all its layers are cut at 2 1/4 with the real dial size off.
My sweet face is from Peachy Keens Monster Mash Face Assortment and I
used the 1 3/8 stamp.
My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms - A Haunting we will go.
All of my paper are scraps from my stash except for the black cardstock which is from Wal-Mart.
I used my white jeally roll pen to doodle and stickles to give my brew and bubbles some life.
My cauldron is popped up with SU stampin' dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!
Happy Crafting!

Test

Sorry guys I am having problems with feedburner since I purchased my own domain.  I am doing this post as a test to see if it is working.  If anyone has any suggestions as to how I could possibly fix this problem, I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks,
Miranda

Fangs to You!

Good Evening My Crafty Friends!

Phew what a busy week and its only Tuesday!  My last two days have been crazy busy at work and CCD started last night.  As some of you know I teach religion, this year I am teaching 8th grade its going to be a big change for me because I normally teach high school.  And boy did they give me a run for my money last night.  LOL  Enough of my crazy life.............I'm spending some time exploring my "Cricut Cartridges".  Sadly I have to admit I have carts I've never used. Today I used Mini Monsters to create my card.

Cardstock from my stash
Cart: Mini Monsters
Tree cut at 3.25
Vampire cut at 2.50 and pop dotted on my card
Ribbon from Wal-Mart
White Jelly Roll Pen
Peachy Keen Stamps - Monster Mash

Boo At the Zoo Mini Album

Hello Crafty Friends:

I was searching the web for an easy mini album that I could make because I had never made one and everyone seems to be making them!  I came across a video by Dawn Griffith which was super easy and really cute.  Click here to see Dawn's video instructions. These envelope mini albums are so easy to make I actually made 3 of them this weekend for 3 sweet little guys in my life.  My grandsons, Brayden and Hilton and my almost grandson DJ. DJ is actually my best friend's little guy!  So here are some pics of the 1st one I made which happens to belong to DJ.

 Front Page
 Center Flap with closure attached.
 The album opened up!
 Left inside page!  DJ as Spiderman!
 Center (Album is tri-fold)
 Right Inside Flap or back cover whichever you choose to call it.  LOL
 Envelopes with all the pics!
 Inside of the album showing the envelopes with pics!
 Another pic of the center envelopes.  Pumpkin was cut from Potpourri Basket!
 Pics on there cards with tags!  Tags were cut at 1 inch from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cart.
The rest of the pics on cards!

Sorry for so many pics.  I didn't know how else to show all the awesome details.
I used a variety of papers that I had in my Halloween box.
Most of my embellishments are foam adhesive stickers I purchased at the end of the season about 2 yrs ago on clearance.  I made all three albums with scraps out of my Halloween box.
It was a lot of fun making the albums and it brought back lots of great memories!
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a Great Night!

Artful Delight

Good Morning My Crafty Friends!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend thus far.  I was actually able to get some crafting in this morning and plan to craft the rest of the day!  That doesn't happen too often.  But I took the day off yesterday and was able to get some routine things done a day early!  Yippy!  Normally on a Satuday,  I have my sweet grandson Brayden but he isn't coming until later this afternoon so I finally have some me time!  Sorry, I was rambling and got a bit off subject.  A few weeks ago, I purchased my first monthly kit from Artful Delight well not only my first kit from there but my first kit ever!  And I have to say I really am liking it.  I purchased the card kit rather than the scrapbook kit.  Pop over to their site and check out the August kit.  Here are two cards I made so far:

 This card is a basic A2 sized card, I used white cardstock from my stash as a base.
All my layers are paper from my August kit! Isn't the paper just lovely!
My embellishments and ribbon are also from the kit.
I inked the edges of the card and stamped my sentiment with
"Tea Dye" distress ink from Tim Holtz.
The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms.
My punch is EK Success, sorry I don't remember the name.
This card is also an A2 sized card.
I rounded my corners with my Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper
using the 1/2 inch side.
My white cardstock is from my stash.
The Yellow bling in the center of my bow is from a very large container
of stones from Hobby Lobby.
SU So Saffron ink.
Everything else is from my August Kit!
Yes the stamp and ribbon too!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!

"Sense of Humor" Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #17

Another week, another challenge!  I have been trying really hard to find time in my craft room but some days I just can't manage it.  But I promised myself that I would do at least one project a week.  And this week I choose to do the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge.  "This week is all about humor. The challenge (#17) is to use humor on your page. You can use funny photos, images and or incorporate words that have to do with humor such as laugh, giggle, chuckle and so on".  You can find the challenge here.

In June of 2010, we gave my son, Michael a diaper shower! His step-sister, Lacey decided he needed some diaper duty practice and when her sweet little guy needed a diaper change she went to get Michael.  Michael got into his full "diaper duty" gear to do the job.  And these pics show him practicing!  LOL

 Cardstock is from my stash, sorry it was pages that were taken out of the stacks about a year ago; the grin stamp is from Stampology, stamped in black Memento Ink and colored in with LePlumme II markers.  The clothes line, which is really hard to see hanging above my journal spot is from the clearance rack at Wal-Mart.  The letters for my title were cut from Cricut American Alphabet at 1.25 on my E-2.  They were cut using the shadow function in black and then using some scrap dsp from JoAnn's.  The Ribbon is from Wal-Mart.  I cut the scallop circle from American Alphabet Doily Shape on page 70 using the shadow font2 at 7 1/2 inches.

Thanks for stopping by and having look around!
Until next time, have a great day! : )
