Cricut Expression 2

Okay so I didn't get to watch the launch at midnight because I was too tired to stay up.  However, I did tune in this morning at 6am and with the help of my loving mother and enabler (lol) I decided to take the plunge and purchase the E2!  I am soooooo excited, can't wait to get it in!  Just so happens it should be here the Friday before Mother's Day!  Happy Mother's Day to me!  Woo Hoo!!!!  Now if I could just convince my children to pay for it.......hmmmm.......!!!!!! J/K  But it is a great thought!  Any hoo here is a pic of the E2!

Have an awesome day!!!!!!!  ~Miranda~

Good Evening

Sorry for the late post.  My life has been very busy lately.  I went out of town with my Mommy last weekend and we visited the Bellingrath Gardens and it was awesome!  We had a great time.  I was able to find some time to play last night and this evening!  I made a couple of Easter cards for my Grandson, Hilton and my Godchild, Ava.

This card is for my Ava Girl for her first Easter!
I used the Celebrate with Flourish Cartridge for both cards.
The paper is from my stash and the ribbon is from Michael's.
The sentiment on Ava's card is from SU.
This card is for my sweet little grandson, Hilton!
Thanks for taking a look!

Choo Choo Birthday

Sorry for the late post but Wednesdays are my busiest day of the week, so I didn't get to do anything crafty yesterday.  But I was able to today.  Here is the card for my sweet grandson Derek who is 2!  Take a look and let me know what you think!
I cheated on this card. The card base is pre-made by Recollections purchased at Michael's.
The train was cut at 3 inches from the New Arrival Cart.
The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.
Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms - Simple Sentiments
Cuttlebug embossing folder - Houndstooth
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great night!

Happy Easter Card with Easter Blossoms

Yay! I got my Easter Blossoms stamp set from SU!  I couldn't wait to get home and play with it.  I saw a card on Gretchen Barron's blog: Inspiration in Action which was so pretty and I wanted to try it.  So here is my take on it:

My card base is blushing bride from SU.  The matt is pear pizzazz from SU.  My image was stamped using the Easter Blossoms set from Stampin Up.  I stamped the tree in black and then stamped the little girl as well as the sentiment in versa mark and heat embossed them.  My ribbon is just some pink ribbon I had in my stash.  I used blushing bride and pear pizzazz ink with a sponge and kinda randomly sponged my white card to create the background.
Thanks for taking a look! Have a great day!

During all the crazy weather last night I managed to sit in my craft room and make a card.  Take a look and let me know what you think.
Base: basic white card stock from Wal-mart cut at 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 portrait style
My next layer is DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies stack cut at 51/4 X 4
The Yellow ribbon is just a piece I had in my scrap
My image is from SU - The Nicest Things stamped on a piece of Whisper White.
I colored my image with SU inks using my blender pen.
I cut it out using nestabilities classic scallop oval - the largest one
The green blig is some from my stash and the sentiment is from SU Love you Much.
I put a piece of the same DCWV paper on the inside of my card
and the sentiment is from SU - The Nicest Things Stamp set!

Whew........can you believe it!  Two projects posted in two days, hope that continues!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Great Day!

Happy Monday!

Good Morning Everyone!  I'm back, I think! LOL  So I had another busy weekend but was able to squeeze in some crafty time.  My Grandson, Brayden is going to Disney World this summer with his Paw-Paw Mike, Maw-Maw Tammy and Uncle Devin (10 yrs old)!  He is so excited he can't contain himself.  This will be his first visit.  On Friday, when I picked him up from school he said "Nana, after this day it will be July"! I explained to him he still had a few months but I don't think he has a concept of time.  So any hoo, I made him a "Count Down to Disney" Calendar to help him count the days down.  He just pulls a Mickey head off each day!  So here is my calendar:
I used some cardstock from my stash, ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.
All the images were cut from Mickey & Friends Cricut Cart!

Thanks for taking a look!  Have a great day!
