I've been sooooo busy with life, I haven't had a moment to myself.  But tonight I stole an hour to (1) play with my Christmas present from my wonderful children - MY GYPSY and (2) make a card.  It's a simple card but a card nonetheless!  Check it out!

Have a Great Thanksgiving!

Mojo Monday 164

Happy Saturday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  Finally I was able to get some crafting done!  I used the sketch from Mojo Monday #164 to create my card.  Other than the stitching I don't think its that bad.  lol  Today is the first time I ever sewed my card or anything for that matter.  I bought the crafting sewing machine about 6 months ago, my mom showed me how to use it one weekend and I never touched it again.  I don't know how to sew as you can tell on my card but I kinda like the look of it so I'll keep practicing.  Take a look and tell me what you think!  P.S.  there are no lines on the sewing machine to help me keep the stitching straight, I maybe should get my trusty ruler out and draw some!  Any tips are welcomed!!!!  : )

Happy Sunday!!!!  It's that time again......Mojo Monday 163 Sketch Contest:
And the card I made:

For this card, I used Me & My Big Ideas Christmas Paper Stack, red card stock and white card stock.  The "Christmas Turtle" is a digi from Whimsy Stamps, I colored it with colored pencils.  I used an ek scallop punch and stickles on the santa hat and bow on the present.  Thanks for taking a look! =)

Here is the SKETCH:

This is my take on the sketch:  Brayden's 5th Birthday (His Hunting Party)

I cut my circle at 5 inches using Plantin School Book Cartridge.  The Happy Birthday was cut at 2 inches and it was cut from Beyond Birthdays.  The deer were cut from Wildlife Cricut Lite Cartridge at 2 inches.  I ran my circle and the deer through the cuttlebug to give it some texture.  Oh and I apologize for the date stamp on the bottom of my pics, forgot to turn it off! :)

Don't forget I love and appreciate all comments!!
